At Radio Modern Shack, we keep things simple, honest, and human. We know life happens. We know chaos happens. And we know sometimes things don’t go the way they should.

So here’s how we handle returns — the real way, not the corporate way.


1. Low‑Cost Items (Under $25)

If something cheap arrives damaged, defective, or not working:

Keep it. No return needed. No shipping. No hassle.

Just send us a picture so we can verify the issue, and we’ll refund or replace it — your choice.

Why? Because it costs more to ship it back than the item is worth. We’re not wasting your time or ours.


2. Mid‑Range Items ($25–$100)

If something in this range arrives damaged or not working:

We may ask for:

  • A photo

  • A short video

  • A quick description

If it’s clearly defective, we’ll refund or replace it.

If we need it back, we’ll send you a prepaid return label — you don’t pay shipping.


3. High‑Value Items ($100+)

These items matter. They have weight, value, and potential for repair or salvage.

If something expensive arrives damaged or defective:

  • We will ask for photos or video

  • We may request the item be returned

  • We cover the return shipping

  • Once received, we’ll refund or replace it

We do this because high‑value items can be repaired, refurbished, or recycled — nothing goes to waste.


4. Change of Mind Returns

If you simply changed your mind:

  • Item must be unused

  • In original condition

  • Returned within 14 days

  • Customer pays return shipping

We’re fair — but we’re also a small business, not a mega‑corporation.


5. Wrong Item Received

If we messed up:

That’s on us. We fix it immediately.

You keep the wrong item, and we send the correct one — unless it’s a high‑value product, in which case we’ll send a prepaid return label.


6. Our Promise

We don’t hide behind fine print. We don’t make you jump through hoops. We treat you like a human — not a ticket number.
